What’s this about? Well, its about a lot of things actually.
This started out as a blog while traveling through East Africa on a Rotary GSE project (more info on that in the Rotary section) and have evolved into something special. The trip was an experience of a lifetime and a catalyst change for us.We have always donated our time, participated in fund raising activities, and made environmental choices in everything we do. But we wanted to do more and this is the beginning of that “more”.
Next we published a book on the project to help raise awareness.
Then, we made arrangements with friends in Uganda to purchase free-trade paper necklaces and are selling them to further raise awareness and as a fund raiser for Africa. All of these projects have involved Rotary and we’re very thankful for their inspiration.
Then we launched Design for Good – a graphic design company that supports the creative needs of environmentally and socially responsible organizations (www.designforgood.ca)
